Booking software pricing, calculated from your numbers.

Plan fees, staff seats, add-ons, marketplace commission, and currency conversion can make a simple pricing page hard to trust. Enter your shop profile to compare estimated monthly costs for Askie, Booksy, Fresha, Vagaro, Squire, and Mangomint, then keep the estimate for your shortlist.

Feature logic

Why these five features?

Booking software comes with a lot of bells and whistles. These five matter because they follow the actual client journey.

01

Get Found

Google Reviews

Your Google Business Profile is primarily where new clients decide whether you are worth booking. Reviews are local search fuel.

02

Book Where They Are

Instagram / Google booking

If someone is ready to book, do not make them hunt for the link or wait for a DM reply.

03

Show Up

SMS reminders

Fewer no-shows. More rebookings. Less "just checking if you are still coming" admin.

04

Come Back

Customer loyalty

Salons and spas are repeat businesses. The software should help good clients come back.

05

Stay Yours

Marketplace visibility

Marketplaces help with initial visibility. However, they own the relationship with your clients.

Pricing Assumptions
  • Marketplace commission assumes 60 new-client appointments per month from your inputs.
  • CAD/USD conversion uses a fixed rate of 1 USD = 1.37 CAD, verified May 2026.
  • Competitor pricing changes. Use the source links above to verify current plan details.

Formula notes

  • Askie: Starter is the lowest Askie tier for 300 monthly appointments. Askie plan prices use the same numeric tiers in CAD and USD. No marketplace commission is modeled for Askie.
  • Booksy: Base price uses $29.99 CAD plus $20 CAD for each additional staff member, capped after nine additional staff. Boost commission is off because enhanced marketplace visibility is not selected.
  • Fresha: Team pricing is modeled as $30 CAD for the first seat plus $20 CAD for each additional staff member. Fresha charges a 20% commission on new-client marketplace appointments regardless of marketplace setting.
  • Mangomint: Essentials is selected from service-provider thresholds: 1-10, 11-20, and 21+. No marketplace commission is modeled for Mangomint.
  • Squire: Titan is the lowest modeled tier satisfying staff count and selected feature requirements. Independent is not selected for shops with more than one bookable staff member.
  • Vagaro: Canadian staff pricing is capped after seven calendars in this model. Paid feature add-ons are included only when selected.
